This morning Mazama performed for three classes of students from the boy’s school St. Birinus. Rhett taught a master class to six saxophone students before Mazama had lunch in Wantage. The master class was interrupted by a fire alarm. Mazama participated in the fire drill with all of the students from St. Birinus.
In the morning after rehearsal we hiked White Horse Hill to see the chalk horses created during the Iron age. In the afternoon we visited the town of Marlborough where we had high tea at the Polly Tea Room. Tonight we have our first concert of the tour–at the famous Holywell Music Room of Oxford University.
Jamie and I landed in London and met Steve and Vicki at the airport. We rehearsed straight away. All the instruments made it safely.
